Founded by husband and wife team Chelsea & Matt Mitzelfelt, Sit, Stay and Play Pet Care offers pet owners custom in-home pet care services
Owners Chelsea & Matt Mitzelfelt have brought their passion for animals to life with Sit, Stay and Play Pet Care, offering clients custom, premium pet care services such as in-home pet sitting, dog walking, waste removal, pet taxi service, emergency pet pick up, owner lock-out assistance and basic errand services.
After years of working in "Corporate America" this couple decided they wanted to pursue work that would bring them a sense of personal fulfillment and enrich their lives. Being true believers of "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life", Sit, Stay and Play Pet Care was born.
Haveing pets of their own, including two large breed dogs, finding quality pet care services at competitive pricing provided by trustworthy, caring pet care specialists was always a challenge that would ultimately limit the couples ability to travel or be away from home for an extended period of time.
When you trust Sit, Stay and Play Pet Care with the care of your pets and home you can rest assured that we will treat them as if they were our own. We will even leave you a written visit report and send a text, picture or e-mail message keeping you posted on how our visit went.

We are also pleased to support organizations for the betterment of animals, such as the San Diego Humane Society and FACE Foundation.With Sit, Stay and Play Pet Care you'll get straight forward pricing with no additional fees for additional pets, pets with special needs or night, weekend or holiday visits. Visits start as low as $15 dollars and can include feeding pets, fresh water, pet potty breaks, waste removal/clean up, administering medications and play time/walks. For our traveling clients we can also rotate blinds, turn on and off lights, water plants and bring in mail/trash can.
Clients wishing to pre-pay visits can take advantage of our "Bark-ers Dozen" Special! Pre-pay 12 visits and take advantage of a 13th visit of equal or lesser value FREE! Visit our "Services" page for a full list of services offered with our competitive pricing.
